WHS 2011: Backup Unsuccessful for client PC
-
Sunday, 1 April 2012 7:41 AMFor the past month my WHS 2011 has not managed to backup my Windows 7 64-bit PC: I was away for a few weeks and came back to a Backup Unsuccessful message, which also greets me each morning. I have tried manual backups, same result. I have just reinstalled the WHS software (having formatted the HD with the Server Folders) and reinstalled the connector software on my PC; it still fails, so I'm feeling really vulnerable!

I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

I couldn't find a reason anywhere, where do I look?
I've found a temporary fix by unchecking the system drive, and just backing up my data drive; this seems to work, but not ideal.
