    Now normally, If someone wants to change a password for an account they are prompted for their previous password before being able to change it. This is not the case from the Home Server Console-Home Server Settings-User Accounts. Shouldn't you be prompted to enter your password? Home Server presumably will be running 24/7, I don't want little Johnny thinking he's smart by changing the password on me!

      I'm going to make a couple of assumptions here:

      1) You have keyboard, mouse and monitor connected to your server

      2) The admin account is logged into the server

      3) "Johnny" accesses the server by keyboard and mouse rather than the via the control console

      4) "You" have an account (say it's named Adam).

      An admin will always be able to change other users ("Adam") passwords without having them.  This is so that an account is not lost if a password is forgotten.  One option is to lock the server (Win+L).  This will prevent Johnny from accessing the server with the mouse and keyboard in front of it.  If you need to leave it unlocked, you might try creating another user on the server with lesser privelages (I haven't tried doing this, but I am assuming that the server will still function properly).

      If I've made some invalid assumptions here, let me know.

        I completely agree. And yes, anyone with some security knowledge would be taking a reasonable action to prevent this, including myself. My concern is that since this product will probably be geared to the mass market of consumers, traveling business professionals, etc, that they do not possess adequate knowledge to take such preventative actions. How many kids know more about their home computer than their parents? See what I'm getting at? You could counter that anyone without above average user skill will not likely be using this product, which I would agree. So, that's my position.
