I think the real problem is the inability to back up text messages. Creating a folder called "backup" isn't really a good method because it's on the phone. I have over 900, some extremely important to keep, and need a software update on my phone that will wipe out everything. My cellular provider's recommendation was to copy and paste the text from all 900+ messages into a Word file!! You've got to be kidding me. There must me a better way.
