Aloha, I am getting ready to jump in with both feet and finally train for my MCSE (such a lagger!).  I have all the books for the exams I have chosen.  How long does each one take to prepare for?   I need to fly to another island in order to test, is it unheard of to take two exams at a time? Or more?  I don't know anyone who has self-trained so I was hoping everyone could give me some advice and additional resources.  Mahalo nui loa for your help in advance!

Depending on your proficiency in the tested objectives; anything's possible. It is impossible to determine how long YOU will need to digest the material and pass the exams.

I recommended setting up a virtual Windows Server 2003 network using Virtual PC 2007. <-- The download for that can be Googled.

From there it is a matter of digesting the technology and working with the technology. A majority of study kits or guides have chapter labs. I recommend you perform those. Also you may want to look into Microsoft e-Learning.

Start. Research. Plan. Perform. End. Test. Evaluate.
