So ive been "e-broke" for about five months, because i was at college and didn't have a way to put money onto my debit card, so my subscription to xbox live ran out. I could have gone and put more money on somehow but I didn't really feel the need to, and i figured that i would just renew my subscription when i felt like playing again. I just got home and put my first paycheck into my bank account and ive been a bit bored, so i was going to renew it, but lo and behold, Microsoft decided to be a total pain in the ass, giving me a thousand different error codes and forcing me to call customer support. There I found out that my card had been "nuked" due to some money i owed them from like january or something. This means my card can never be used on xbox live-- ever. Firstly, I had no idea i owed them money. No phone calls, no attempt to tell me about my upcoming nuke, and now I've got no way to pay for my xbox live, even though I have plenty of money to pay back the owed amount and renew my subscription. I don't have another card, only my debit card, and its not very easy, or cheap to get a new one. So seriously Microsoft, you banned my card from the system because I owed you money that I didn't even know about? Wtf? All I want to do is play some Call of Duty or Gears of War and you guys basically banned me from xbox live. Can you please let me back in? I swear I'll be real careful to cancel my subscription if my card gets so low again. Also, maybe you should charge the person before you give them a month of live, and that way this wouldn't have even been a problem.

I did contact you guys, you're the ones who told me my card was nuked. I had no idea until about an hour before i posted this. It's not like I purposely withheld money from microsoft, I wasn't aware that I owed anything, or that my card would be banned forever.
