Vista business

Sunday, 18 March, 2007 11:13 PMMy mother just got a new computer. The CPU only came with a 3month free trial of Microsoft Office. We bought Microsoft Vista Business, installed it, and registered the product key, but microsoft office wont work. It asks us to enter a product key; we entered the key that came with the Vista Business, but it says it is invalid...what should we do?

Benedictarnald,
Vista Business do you mean the Windows operating system? If so the product key code only works with that actual product SKU and won't activate a trial copy of MS Office. Your mother recieved a trial version of MS Office for review and if she would like to continue using the product beyond the specified period then she would have to purchase a version of Office. There are a few versions of Vista Office to fit various needs a customer would require. Please review the various versions @ http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX100487411033.aspx?pid=CL100571081033 and http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX101757671033.aspx.
