Hi,
I'm just a newbie to HDView and not that familiar with it yet.
Hope somebody can spare time to comment.
Is HDView only for XP?
Is there a way to run it in Windows 2000?
Regarding the activeX, can I use HDView.dll in my program?
Lastly, can HDView run in local network?
You're comment will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

It should run on win2k, however we haven't tested it on that OS so our web page says it isn't supported.

ActiveX controls need a host program, like IE or Powerpoint. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa768175.aspx is a good starting point for how ot create an ActiveX container.

Yes it can view files off your disk or on a local network. I'd recommend downloading hdmake and using it to create a web page on your machine to see it running on locally hosted content
