"Reloading" or reinstalling of OneCare does not start a new subscription or renew an existing one. You can no longer renew your OneCare subscription nor can you purchase a new subscription.
See this post for End of Life information for Windows Live OneCare - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/onecaregeneral/thread/81996436-edad-41ba-bdfc-02fc094e2ca9
You can use the free Microsoft Security essentials for malware protection - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/resources.aspx
If your subscription has not yet expired, you can activate the reinstalled copy of OneCare and use it until the subscription expires. You need to use the same LiveID on the subsequent activations. If you are receiving a message indicating that there is no subscription associated with that LiveID, you are likely not using the same LiveID as the subscription ID.
If you don't recall the LiveID you used for your subscription, you will need to contact support who can provide that information to you using your Key and/or contact information.

Alternatively, sign in at http://billing.microsoft.com with email addresses that you have set up as LiveIDs and one will show your subscription listed - that would the LiveID to use to activate with.
