Installed onecare beta 2 on Vista Ultimate x64.
Download worked, the installation managed to freeze Vista completely (first time for that). After hardware reboot one care won't start and I can't uninstall.
How can I manually un-install?Tried to use the Microsoft help and support email, got "An unknown application error occurred. Please try again in a few minutes" when submitting.
Clearly this beta was in fact not ready for release, very poor quality.

What happens when you try to uninstall?
You can try the cleanup tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2, but I suspect it may not work in Vista x64 for v2.0
Here's the direct link for the support email form - https://help.live.com/ContactUs/EformInputPage.aspx - you will need to sign in with a LiveID, I believe.
It *is* a beta and problems are bound to occur, but based on your experience, I'm afraid it sounds like you may have something conflicting with OneCare or a deeper problem that surfaced because of the OneCare install.
