    I am unable to send messages in Windows Live Mail. Get error message "unknown error has occurred. Server-smtp.comcast.net, WLM Error ID 0x80070057, protocol SMTP, port 5887, Secure (SSL)No

      You're off topic for this forum, which is dedicated to Windows Live OneCare. 

       

      Help and support for Windows Live Mail (downloaded from http://download.live.com) can be found here - http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=15

       

      I suggest, however, checking with your provider, comcast, to make sure that you are using the correct server information. One other thing to note is that you would get an error if you are not connected to the Comcast network and trying to use the Comcast smtp server to send messages.
