My company is using Microsoft Project Server 2010 along with Project 2010. Team managers are assinging resources tasks in MS Project, the resources are putting time towards their tasks using the Project Web Application built into MSPS 2010. The problem we are seeing is that some (not all) resources will put hours on thier timesheet, click the "Send Timesheet" button. Then it goes to thier timesheet manager (thier team manager) for approval, and they approve the timesheet. But when I run a "Timesheet" compliance report those timesheets are still showing "Not Started". We are using this information to communicate with the resource that they have not submitted thier timesheets, so it's imperative that it is correct.

FYI our surver is supported by an outside source and they have built in reports as in Timesheet Compliance Reports.

    Thanks in advance,

     Mark

Mark do you have any queue error's when submitting the timesheet? I would also check if the report is accessing the data correctly. Can you replicate the report using the OLAP Cubes to see if the period is also shown as not started?

    Thanks

    Marc,

When I check the que for the last month I don't see anything out of the ordinary. And the resources in question do not show any errors. I suppose I will have to a anaylyze the report itself.

    Thanks,

    Mark

Yes, that would the next most logical step. I would also check under the timesheet adjustment if you can see any timesheets that should have been submitted but where not. If you cant find any, I would look into the report iteself
