A bug in Co-author list/Editing articles

    Question

  • The bug appears in the following sequence:

    1. A wrong person "Anton Gerasimov" detected in the list of Co-Authors (See fig. 1)

He appeared there just because the article stated A. Gerasimov, while previosly I have already changed this co-author from the wrong person A.I.Gerasimov into the right one Alexey Gerasimov. It seems like the system deleted one co-author, but instead of inserting the right one (which I suggested) it somehow searched again and found another wrong person.

    2. I check the paper, which is "co-authored" with the wrong person.

    3. When I Edit this paper, what I see? I see the right author "Alexey Gerasimov" stated there (See fig.2).

So it seems like all articles in the system has an "internal state" and "published state" which do not match each other. In addition, the published version of the paper is changed most likely automatically despite of the changes made by users (me in this case).
