Lost COA sticker

    Question

  • Hi, I am new to this board and was just wondering what to do really,

I recently changed my case, and now my COA sticker is lost. I was going to peel it off the case but my partner decided to throw it out and by the time I got back in it was too late, it was collected by the bin men.

Any ideas on what I can do? my Windows is fully genuine and everything, only thing is I am now down a sticker for my new case. Is it possible to contact Microsoft and obtain a new sticker for my licence at all? Thanks in advance..

  • If your computer is still operational and you wish to find the Product Key currently in use:

  • Nukey,

    Any help here, http://support.microsoft.com/KB/326246?

If you purchased your copy of XP MCE from a local systembuilder, they can get a replacement COA for you from MS.

  • Unfortunately I don't live in the US or any of the countries listed (I live in the UK), so I can't do what was suggested. Looks like I will have to do without the sticker, also considering that I have moved to the other side of the country since it all happened and are unable to contact the retailer.

Thanks for your help anyway, was most grateful. :)
