outlook client issue (repeat request login)

    Question

  • dear all,

    Does anyone can help us to find the problem from the message as below? Those log was collected by CRM office client diagnostic tool. The issue is when user(sales) access and modify their account information in outlook client, it will request to log-in before open the account window every time. Please help to give us some direction or solution to solve it. Thanks in advance.

  • I think you are running into issue because you are using several different profiles on the same machine.  The Outlook client is configured to run on only one Outlook profile per machine.  You can also check to see if this KB article resolves the issue.

    - does the Diagnostic Wizard report any errors?
    - do you have any other web application integrated into the account form which requires authentication (for example SharePoint)?

    Yes, all setting had been reset again, but still got the same issue.

  • Do you tried to add Server Name to trusted sites ? Do you tried to check if you have to same issue on the web client (IE) ?

  • If I understand your situation it is due to a missing browser setting for integrated authentication from within IE.
