Can't configure CRM from Outlook 2013 on Surface Pro 2 (Windows 8;1)

    Question

  • I am unable to configure CRM 2013 for Outlook on my new Surface Pro 2. I am also using Office 365.

I am able to install the CRM client, but when I try to connect to the CRM Online server I get an werror that says "This action is not supported". I looked in the log file and there is an exception thrown. see below:

I contacted MS tech support and was told that CRM 2013 CRM client is not supported on Windows 8.1

    Is this true?
