  • From your MGA Report:

    Windows License Type: Volume

    Validation Status: Geographically blocked PID

Unfortunately, the installed Windows XP license can only be validated in the geographical region of the world it was originally intended for.  It's probably a good idea to consider recycling that old computer and purchasing a new one that comes with Windows 7 preinstalled.

  • Hello desare,

Please look on the computer for a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA).  If there is a CoA, please tell us what version and edition of Windows is listed on the CoA, and if there is a manufacturer's name or "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" printed on the CoA.  Do not post the product key printed on the CoA.

If there is no CoA, there is no solution other than to install a genuine license for Windows.  Or perhaps install one of the free OSs out therre such as Linux or BSD.
