Ok I renewed my subscription to live 1 care earlier this year. A few weeks after I had a problem with my system unrelated to live 1 care. Tech support from gateway asked me to do a system restore. We moved the system back to before I renewed my subscription. At the same time I switched from 1 isp to another thus changing my e-mail account. I now only get a screen that says live 1 is out of date. it is not I cannot get to customer support beause I have to log in however I am told via the screen that i need to renew my subscription..
You can still use the original Live ID and password to activate One Care even though you have changed ISPs and your old e-mail address is inactive. If this doesn't work for you send an e-mail with One Care in the subject line to firstname.lastname@example.org and I will help you contact support.
