A Computer error while installing Windows

    Question

  • Ok. I'm new here so i'm don't know if this has been answered before. The threads i've read dont apply to my situatuion.
    Anyways.
My new Acer Desktop came through today. It is refurbished but i bought it from Argos.
What happens is windows will start to load up but before it reaches the desktop an error message pops up.
*The computer restarted unexpectedly or encounted an error. Windows installation cannot Proceed. Click OK to restart the computer and then re-install windows.*
The threads i have read have told people its a problem with their hardware or system requirements.
    I have got...
Intel Core Duo Processor, 2.8 Ghz
    3GB RAM
    320GB HDD
and 512Mb Dedicated Grpahics (I don't know the graphic card make)
And it came with Vista Home Premium built in.
Hope you can help because i've been looking forward to getting a new desktop for quite a while now.
    Thanks in advance.
    Alex.

  • Hi,
COntact Your Vendor to re install the OS,
    or
If  u hav knowldge on installing OS ,
Buy a licenced operating system, and boot with CD and then Insatll OS
    ,
The problem that you said is most common in HDD failurs, the best option is you need to install the OS.
