Event 1309 ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0 & Event 20249 - MSCRMSandboxService

    Question

  • Hi Guys,

Our CRM 2011 server keeps throwing this event 1309, ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0 and event 20249, MSCRMSandboxService. Our server CRM 2011 is running Windows Server 2008 HPC Edition. Our issue is that, when users are trying to open and edit an Opportunity or create a new one they can't see the option on top of the window to save the opportunity. And when they tried to close it, CRM throws an error as well. I've attached an image below so that you would know what I mean.

  • Hi,

have you applied Rollup 6? and do you have custom JavaScript or custom Ribbon button on this Opportunity form,  if so what i have noticed that after applying Rollup 6 and if that JavaScript or custom Ribbon button got some kind of syntax issue or error in the JavaScript, it doesn't show the Ribbon area.

in fact your exception says as follows, revisit your JavaScript for this form.

    Exception type: CrmException
Exception message: Invalid JavaScript identifier: 30
       at Microsoft.Crm.Application.Forms.FormScript.ValidateJavaScriptIdentifier(String identifier)

  • Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your response. We've applied Rollup 3 but we haven't applied Rollup 6 yet. Do you have any other ideas why why we can't see the ribbon?

    Please help.

  • Did you ever get a resolution to this issue? We are having the same problem exactly. After upgrading our crm 4.0 on premise to crm 2011. I've actually applied update rollups 6, 8 and now 10.

  • We had this problem also, and it turns out to be a bug in IE. IE do not manage to create the folder %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Internet Explore\UserData. Try to create this folder manually, and then restart IE.
