System Calls

All replies

  • As you know, a system call is a way for programs to request a service from an operating system's kernel, thus providing an interface between a process and the operating system; many Windows system calls are implemented in Windows' core files, like kernel32.dll.
The only way to add one or more system calls to the kernel of an operating system is to modify the kernel source files to include the code and the definition for the newly added system calls and then to compile and build the operating system's kernel.

    Bye.
