If you want to include images in your e-mail template you should reference full URL of the image on a web page. We actually build the HTML page in our web site. Do a preview, then copy and past the page into an e-mail template. Make sure the web page uses full URL’s or it will not pull the image when you send the e-mail.
Also you should use in-line styles for format your page.
