    Question

  • I have been a paid subscriber for nearly two months. This morning OneCare would not open from the task bar, only using the start menu. Even when started from the start menu it would not respond to any commands. After restarting the system it now responds. What happened? Why was it necessary to restart the system to make OneCare work for me?

It could have been a problem with a service having failed to start, but since it works after a reboot, we'll probably not know. If it happens often, you'd want to check for conflicts, perhaps by contacting OneCare support.
