What Certs have a security portion to it?  I want to very much specialize in Security, so much that i am looking at obtaining a CCSP for Cisco, working towards a CISSP, and would like a MS cert in there as well.

At this point, I am looking at the MSITP for Windows Server 2008, it just seemed like a good place to start studying, even if I dont take the test.  Does the MSITP have a security portion.  I believe the MCSE does.

Any answers to this would be helpful.  I have looked at the traing path pages previously, but did not really see a ready answer to this question.

    Thanks.

    Scotty,

None of the current MCITP certifications are targeted towards security but both the MCITP Server Administrator and MCITP Enterprise Administrator certifications do have security elements embedded in the certs.  You're correct that MCSE did have targeted security certifications such as MCSE: Security on Server 2000 and MCSE: Security on Server 2003

    Thanks Darril,

Does the MCSE for 2008 still allow to specialize in Security?  This is the path I really want to go down.

    thanks

There is no MCSE 2008. This certification does not exist in the new generation certifications. The two link Darril provided are the closest certifications to the MCSE. Those certifications do not provide a speciality in security.
