I'm a freshers finished my UG degree (have no experience in IT industry). I have immense interest in pursuing windows server courses. my question is a Freshers could have eligibility to get MSITP certificate? or should do any basic certifications to do an MSITP..
Probably i'm willing to do MSITP in windows server 2008 exam set no 70-640..
Any suggestions for doing this course.
And i would like to know about Job opportunity after getting this certifications.
Thanks in advance.

Certifications exist to test a candidates knowledge of an IT technology, not to teach someone about a technology.
Most MCITP certifications require at least 1-2yrs experience in the technology being tested therefore it is unlikely that you’d pass the exam given that you have no IT experience.
If you are serious about becoming a Microsoft IT specialist, I’d recommend that you look at doing the MTA http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mta.aspx

I agree with Wharty, for zero IT experience getting any Microsoft Certification is going to be difficult. Much less going for a higher level certification like an MCITP which require a few years experience with Server 2008.
If you really want to get certified I would suggest starting with a client exam like 70-680 which covers Windows 7. There are plenty of free training material out there and if you have the OS already installed you can practice at home with not additional software. One free location i've pointed to people is http://www.professormesser.com/ they have quality training material for the 70-680 exam. If that isn't enough i would suggest purchasing a Microsoft Publishing book to study with.
