Tuesday, June 26, 2012 6:45 PMI just purchased Visual Studio 2010 Professional with MSDN a couple of days ago. I would like to become a Web and Software Developer using this software. I also own Expression Studio 4 Web. My programming experience is C++ and HTML. Can someone recommend what I should study in MSDN, Book or Websites to become an intermediate user with VS 2010? I would like to learn how to write Win32 applications using C++. What other programming languages should I become familiar with to be a successful web and software developer? And what MSDN, Books or Websites do you recommend to accomplish this. I don't see much in the way of training in MSDN.

you should start only with one topic (because this is a very wide range of topics). If you want to become a web developer and you would focus yourself on Microsoft technologies you should have a look at ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC) - http://www.asp.net/
C# is a very good choice for a programming language in all .NET related technologies (you will find most of the examples in C#).
For recommendations about sites or books you should specify the technology you want to start with.
