I have my MCSA 2003 certification and want to obtain my MCSE 2003. The exams that I have passed are 227, 270, 290, and 291. Will I need to pass exams 293, 294, and 297 to obatin MCSE 2003?

That is correct.  If you want to obtain the MCSE while focusing on the Active Directory technologies, those are the correct exams to complete your credential.

If you prefer to focus on security, instead of 70-297 (the active directory design exam), you could take 70-298 (the windows 2003 security design exam).

Best of luck on completing your MCSE!
