I may of missed it (if so, sorry) - Is there a way for me to get email notifications, similar to if not as an rss feed, when a change occurs in any of my mesh folders, or maybe just specific ones?

    Thanks

not that I currently know of. Great suggestion though, how about you add it to the Suggestions Sticky?

So you'd like to consume the information you see on the "News" page of the Mesh notifier in your RSS reader?

I can see where this might be useful if you are using Live Mesh to sync files from one or more devices to the Live Desktop (or between devices), but you typically are not at those devices all the time and receive an RSS feed at another location or on another device that is not part of the Mesh.

Yes, that's it exactly. As the next post points out, the usefulness to me would be in that I would receive notification in my email program, which I always have on, that there is a change to the makeup of files.

Please add your request to the suggestion sticky at the top of the forum per the answer from nachmore. I think it is a great idea. :-)

I'd just like to chime in saying this would be extremely valuable, but maybe not for the same reason outlined by the initial poster. What I'm interested in is an actual, publicly vieweable RSS feed for a specific photos folder. I'm looking for a way to automatically create an RSS feed based on the newest pictures I take off my camera. The goal is to make this process of "publishing" pictures online as simple as possible. Mesh already automates the uploading of photos, the only thing missing is the ability for others to access those photos over a public RSS feed.

Basically, what I want is a combination of a Windows Live photo album complete with RSS feed but the client side automatic upload that Mesh provides.

When do you suppose the Skydrive team and the Mesh team will finally get together? I've always found it odd that these two teams don't simply combine efforts into one kick ____ product!

Yes, that seems odd - SkyDrive, Mesh, and Sync really should be combined.
