Latest Mobile client 0.9.4014.4 will not syncronise all files in a folderI have submitted the following bug report for an issue I'm facing https://connect.microsoft.com/LiveMesh/feedback/ViewFeedback.aspx?FeedbackID=453824 Perhaps someone else has experienced this already? Until this latest Live Mesh Mobile update all was working just fine so any ideas will be very welcome. I'm using an E-ten Glofish X800 handset with Windows Mobile Pro 6.0. How long since all of the files stopped synchronizing? Have you tried removing the device from the Mesh and adding it back?
-steve

Microsoft MVP Windows Live / Windows Live OneCare & Live Mesh Forum ModeratorThu, 21 May 2009 17:16:57 Z2009-05-21T17:16:57Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#9b748a18-7a03-4d79-91c1-d29c0c35e82fhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#9b748a18-7a03-4d79-91c1-d29c0c35e82fNeil Geddeshttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Neil%20GeddesLatest Mobile client 0.9.4014.4 will not syncronise all files in a folderHi Steve,

Thanks for your reply. It started failing exactly after installing the latest Live Mesh Mobile client update. Yes, I have removed the device from the Mesh and added it back in. Same results... Is there any way to reinstall the previous Mobile client software just to test?

Best regards, NeilThu, 21 May 2009 17:43:14 Z2009-05-21T17:43:14Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#fc50b986-ca6d-4a13-9b24-5824a3688079http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#fc50b986-ca6d-4a13-9b24-5824a3688079Stephen Bootshttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Stephen%20BootsLatest Mobile client 0.9.4014.4 will not syncronise all files in a folderNo, when the client is updated, the old version is no longer available for download. If you have the old cab file around, you may be able to install it, but it will then want to update when it connects to the server, assuming that it allows you to connect.
-steve
Microsoft MVP Windows Live / Windows Live OneCare & Live Mesh Forum ModeratorThu, 21 May 2009 17:51:54 Z2009-05-21T17:51:54Zhttp://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#cd6d1629-3852-4a75-a5fe-a3bb1372ea18http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/LiveMeshMobile/thread/61b2ac4e-e8b7-49e3-a59d-edd4c930c790#cd6d1629-3852-4a75-a5fe-a3bb1372ea18Neil Geddeshttp://social.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Neil%20GeddesLatest Mobile client 0.9.4014.4 will not syncronise all files in a folderHi, I'm not sure how bug feedback really works with this beta but am I likely to get a response from the Microsoft Live Mesh Mobile team? I have submitted a detailed report with logs, and tested the obvious solutions, so is it just a case of waiting until the team works through the long list down to mine? Unfortunately this is a stopper for me, the mobile client is unusable, and I'm stalled. In some cases, you won't get a response, but a new client release will have addressed your issue if your problem was confirmed to be a bug and was able to be fixed for that release. I know - frustrating!
A member of the Live Mesh team may also pop in here to discuss your problem.

-steve
Microsoft MVP Windows Live / Windows Live OneCare & Live Mesh Forum ModeratorTue, 02 Jun 2009 13:04:05 Z2009-06-02T13:04:05Z
