Hi to everyone!

I can't setup sent folder in IMAP. Every sent email goes to the "Sent" folder but there are no mails which I've sent from the other computers. Everything seems that it's problem with choosing destination of this folder, becouse new folder ("Sent Items") has appeard on the other computer (where is Outlook 2007 installed).

Please help!

Since WLW can read from a host blog server all the posts, it would be nice to be able to do a "save all" posts to a local folder; for local editing, when offline or to save for back up purposes.

Why do the live gallery thumbnails only show on some computers and not others? At home there are no thumbnails. But, at work they are there. I have XP Professional at home and at the office. I use both Explorer 7 and Firefox (latest version) at both home and office. The thumbnails are so cool looking.

My Windows Live Sign-in Assistant is Not Working

When I bring up my.live.com home page on IE 8 and click "sign in" I get a completely blank web screen. No content at all. I made sure the Windows Live Add-ins were enabled (through tools>internet options). I even tried tools>internet options>advanced>reset. I am considering a reinstall as a last resort.

Any advice?

For the past few weeks off an on, when i try to acces my hotmail i keep getting redirected to bing.com search. Very annoying since i cant access Mail part of live.com at all and cant check my mail. Any way to fix this?

RSS Feeds not working

For several weeks now none of my RSS feeds work. I have been unable to find anyone else on the net that seems to be having this problem. I'm using IE8 and I thought I would download and reinstall it but it says I have a newer version than the one you can download. I used the Microsoft Fix it app to "reset" IE8 but this did not fix the problem. However Firefox displays the feeds just fine. I don't want to have to open it just to view my feeds on my.live.com though. Any body have any suggestions?

Theres no point in posting in here anymore because the product isnt being developed anymore. All the effort is being put into my.msn.com. Most of the suggestions on here were never even implemented. Might as well close this forum!

Cannot stay signed in to Windows Live

I have my.msn selected as my default homepage in internet options. When i click on my Internet Explorer icon on main page it takes me to windows live sign in page instead of my msn homepage. After I sign in to windows live it takes me to my msn homepage. How do I configure settings such that when I click on main page internet explorer icon it takes me to my msn homepage instead of widows live sign in page. Is there any way to stay signed in to windows live all the time even when i exit. Help please would be appreciated. Tim from Texas.

Will Wave 4 see a return of darker themes? Perhaps those found in my msn?

I can not stand the washed out pastel, cartoonish themes you provided for wave 3 and I'm wondering and hoping there will be a return of the darker colors. You can keep the wave 3 ones, but offer a choice of darker colors.

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium with 2 monitors and IE 8. My home page is www.msn.com. Whenever I open msn.com the computer binds up and gets very slow. I opened up task manager and found that the cpu usage is 100% and stays that way. This is true whether it is one screen or two. If I go to any other website the cpu usage drops into the low teens. Is there something wrong with the MSN home page or do I have an option on the IE 8 making it do this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Let's face it My.live.com has been in limbo for some time, not getting an update to a Wave 3 header and being removed from the Live.com home page, it isn't even linked from any Windows Live properties, AFAIK. Aside from this forum and regular, but identical, customer surveys its been quiet.

Now along comes bing.com, a new hope for MSFT search, and I'm looking forward to it. The brand seperation was needed between search (Live.com/Bing) and cloud services (Windows Live).

But where does this leave My.live.com? Will it be My.bing.com? Is it a search product or a Windows Live product? Does it even have a future?

I hope so. I use it everyday and treat it as my morning newspaper. I feel like it should be a Windows Live product, and should have some kind of future intergration with Home.live.com, but that's just my opinion. Even if it stays as My.live.com I wish it would get a Wave 3 header.

What are the other opinions here? My.bing.com anyone? Of course MS official comment alwasy welcome :)

favorites in my.live.com ?

My old live account I no longer use has my favorites in my.live.com signed in page. They auto migrated when skydrive took over I suppose. Now I have a new live ID I am migrating to and cannot find a way to add the favorites web gadget to my.live.com. The original gadget is out there but no longer works. I have other famiily members asking how to do this since I showed them. Please assist on how something so simple can be done. (It works if I go to favorites.live.com just no gadget for my.live.com)

Just wanted to know if someone got this to work.

I added the "What's new on your network" rss feed to my.live.com like any other feed.
Unfortunatelly, although the new items appear correctly, when clicking on them I only get blanc pages.

Any suggestions?

Integration of live services

Hi.
Im using manylive services and I have one question when they all will be integrated ?
for example we have Windows Live™ Favorites and on sky drive we have an space for favorites that are integrated with toolbar.
Also we have an live mash that gives virtual desktop with 5GB of space but on sky drive we have 25GB of space. Next thing is my.live and home.live as for my there should be one page that looks like home.live but also gives the functionality of my.live

live search switched to another language

somehow, livesearch now pulls up all french, even when manually switched to english, and selected USA and all other prompts to english it defaults back to french. Under properties, the URL is Live.com/france? could not find how to change that URL, so it would quit defaulting to french.

When will a new release of My.Live.com be coming? In your last posts you mentioned that "We’ll start planning for our next update to My.Live.com, aiming for a minor update in the Fall. Right now, most of our time is being devoted to another project that we’ll have more information about in the coming months."

Did the "minor update in the Fall" ever occur? What was the changes? And what was the "other project" that you guys were involved in? Was that the recent Windows Live Wave 3 web release?

In future like everyone I would love may be to switch during my travel use my.live.com and what would I expect to see inside any operating platform I use may be mobile or even a pen for creatively recreating the windows. Let me come to the point using the simplest example.
Today I login using my name and security password in public. I would like to listen to the latest music, book plane ticket and so on. But I am using my friends system. Within my private password in the domain if I log on wirelessly cant I do all the things where my friend has given me his system to leak out some details. When I use the public password according to the chip inside my ring, it recreates accordingly to the network space. And why my.live.com as this name can be changed each and every time i use the private password and within enough secure environment accertained by the web space of microsoft. In this case I can switch to one provider all ways and within my personal interests. This can also be significant where listening experience with online gadgets can be there where ever I am in this globe with my space.

I just got this message when trying to add a feed "You have exceeded the number of items in 'My content'. Please delete an item before adding another one. " to the 'Add a gadget by URL' section.

Is it serious? Have I really reached the max number of feeds I can subscribe to?

I do have a lot admittedly. But this is a deal breaker, if it's true I will be forced to use Google Reader. Which would be a massive shame as I've been a proponent of my.live.com since it started despite the fact it has not had an update for years.

I simply haven't been able to read most feeds nor my e-mails nor able to get any applet to work for more than a week now. Some feeds work from time to time, but the site is simply not usable like this.

I've tried everything from deleting all my cookies and switching from IE7 to IE8 RC1.
I can get it to work in other computes so it's not linked to my Windows Live account.

Ironically, it's working on Firefox, and being able to use "Microsoft's my.live.com" is the only reason I've ended up switching to "Mozilla's Firefox" for the time being... Would like to go back to IE, but my.live.com goes first...

Any suggestions?

I have a display problem with http://my.live.com/

My problem appear with Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0 & 8.0. I have an horizontal scroll bar when i use http://my.live.com/ in 4 columns mode.

There is no problem with Mozilla Firefox 2.x.x.x & 3.x.x, and Opera 9.6x.

Can you fix this ?

Houston we have a problem I use http://my.live.com as my home page and for the past 45 minutes here in Mid Michigan USA I 404 not found um IE runs it's trouble shooter connection is fine.

So What's going on Live team it appears I'm not the onliny one.

the last few days, my.live.com loads a few of the RSS feeds, then suddenly refreshes showing "Loading..." on all of the gadgets (including the ones that loaded correctly). Odd. Anyone else having issues with my.live.com?

for this i am using named pipe but when i tried to connect named pipe by using createfile function
it do not returns valid handle however this works fine in iis 5 or (iis 5 isolation mode in iis 6)
i think improved security of iis 6 do not allow inter process communication any idea ??

Hi guys,

First of all, I absolutely LOVE my.live.com, I've been using it for a very long time now, on IE 6, IE 7 and Firefox 2.

Some time ago (about when Firefox 3 was released) I upgraded to Fx 3, and unfortunately... it doesn't work anymore. Can somebody please take a look at this and fix it? I'm missing out on quite a number of websites (including Liveside and Angus Logan's blog) because I'm missing my feeds :(

It is down for me for more than 10 hours. I tried to connect from two different stations but with the same result. Strange is that my colleagues can use my.live.com without any problems.
