Authentication Failure / Can't login to myphone from my phone
- I receive an Authentication Failure when I try to login to myphone from my ATT Tilt. I have verified that the LiveID works just fine when logging in to Windows live on my desktop. I have tried the id / password multiple times to make sure it is entered correctly. Any ideas?

- I un-installed the new version, re-installed the beta and was able to log in and sync. It then prompted me to download the update and I was able to sync with the new version.

- Hi,
could you please tell me if you have tried to sign in to http://myphone.microsoft.com ? Also, did you receive the upgrade request in the device? - I un-installed the application, then installed the new version. I can log into the website just fine, but my phone won't let me log in...

- I have tried to login to myphone.microsoft.com and was able to. I did not receive any upgrade request on the phone. I received the initial link, installed, and tried to login.
- I thought new version should be fine, so deleted the old cab file. Now, where can I download a beta version?
- I also had this issue. Reinstalling the beta allowed me to sign in, and prompted me to upgrade which worked.
I think the issue may be caused by the fact my email address domain is classed as "other" - Hi s_mc,
I'm curious about your email address domain being classified as "other". When you entered your live ID credentials, did it look like "a" or "b" below?
"a" username@domain.com
"b" username@domain.com.co (where .co is a country code like .ca, .uk, .jp)
I'm trying to understand this situation a bit better as there have been a few reports of trouble with such email addresses.
Thanks!
Richie Weldon - my email is more like "a". it's username@yahoo.comI'm using the same credential to write this reply.
- When you enter your credential information, is the term "@other" listed for the email domain? For example, if your email address is MyUserName@yahoo.com, is it being entered in the sign-in screen on your phone as MyUserName@yahoo.com@other? If so, remove the "@other" portion.
Richie Weldon Thanks for your reply. I tried, but to no avail.
- Can you tell me where to fine the beta version I have a Moto Q and I am having the authentication error.
Thanks for any assistance
