     My Phone Beta users,

The My Phone team has identified an issue in our beta client software that impacts users with Windows LIVE ID’s that end in msn.com.  The team has identified a fix and is testing it now.  We hope to make the fix available soon.

Thanks for your patience and your help in making the My Phone experience a great one.  We will update this thread once the fix is available.

    The My Phone Team

This issue has now been resolved. We have refreshed the My Phone application installer on the download location. The affected users will need to complete the following steps for resolving the issue:

    1. Uninstall the existing application on the phone:
      1. For Touch phones with stylus: Go to Startà SettingsàSystemàRemove Programsà Choose "Microsoft My Phone" and press Remove.
      2. For Non-Touch screen: Go to Startà Settingsà Remove Programsà Choose "Microsoft My Phone" and press Remove.
    2. Once the application is successfully removed go to the SMS which you received from the My Phone service to download the updated installer again.
      1. If you do not have the SMS you can log on to the Web Site at http://myphone.microsoft.com and request a SMS again.
      2. You can also choose to enter the URL manually in the Internet Explorer on your phone: http://myphone.microsoft.com/install
    3. After the application is successfully installed launch it by going to StartàProgramsà Microsoft My Phone
    4. Complete the sign in experience.

PS: There is no action required for unaffected users who are successfully able to synchronize their phone with the service.

I've just been accepted to My Phone and I'm using my personal domain name as my Windows Live ID.
I'm getting this error on the phone client, however I haven't installed the application previously so I should be fine right?

    Hey Richard,

I would strongly suggest installing the new phone client from http://myphone.microsoft.com/install . This new client has addressed a few issues some customers have seen.

Since we are not sure what error you are seeing (Pls state the error next time :) for us to be more helpful), can you please try the new client and let us know

    Thanks
    Arvind

    I'm using @live.se

I couldnt press "Login" (Logga in in swedish) until i unchecked the box of keeping password and checked it again.

Tried several times and I had to check/uncheck to continue.
