    Issue:

After installation,  app is started up.  Enter LiveID and password,  and hit next.  The error "An unexpected error occurred.  Please Try Again".

This was installed on Windows Mobile 6.1 on a Verizon Wireless Samsunh SCH-i760.

Any suggestions?  Any logs to review?

Internet connection is working fine for other apps on the device, and credentials work for accessing the MyPhone website.

I've just installed My Phone on my device and did not get any issues. Have you tried rebooting the device?

Currenly there is a known issue with Samsung Omnia Phones with Verizon.
We are working on it and we will update you as and when the fix is ready.

    Hi Ravi,

So you are saying there is a known issue affecting every Samsung devices on Verizon network or just the Omnia? The user above has a Samsung SCH-i760, not the Omnia. Can you please clarify this.

    Thanks,

    Linley.

    Hey Lin,

We found an issue around Samsung CDMA phones.
So this could be effecting you.

Omnia from verizon being one of the devices.

    Tristan,

Unfortunately,  yes I am still getting the error as of this morning.

Can you elaborate on the Samsung issue as this is a Samsung i760 running on Verizon?

    Thanks,
    Jef

There is an update to the My Phone service that you would want to try.
It solves the sign in issue on CDMA devices
