    I have a Treo 850 through Sprint.  I signed up for the premium services trial but I'm not sure they are compatible.  Why I tried to force the phone to ring, it didn't ring OR vibrate.  It did display a message on the screen and it gave the option of silencing the ringer.

    This particular phone has a physical switch on top that changes it from Ring to Silent.  Is this feature not compatible with my phone?  (I don't want to pay for premium services that I can't use.

    Hi CamMan68,

    Thank you for using Microsoft My Phone.  On the Palm Treo 850, or other such devices that have a physical switch to set the ringer to silent, we are not able to force the phone to Ring aloud if the switch is in the "silent" mode.  In order for this to work in your case, you will need to ensure the switch is not in silent mode.

    You might want to try a remote Lock of your phone.  I believe that does not have any requirements on the switch for the ringer in order to function properly.
