Unanswered tray app problem

I need help - here's the situation:  Problem #1 - Whenever I start up windows XP 2005, the installer comes in and gives me a Tray App message indicating that I need to put in a disc and windows will not continue to load.  I cannot rid of this message without going to the Task Manager and ending the task.

Problem #2 - I also had a Sony Picture Package software package installed on my HP Media Center Pavilion 1350 with XP home edition.  The software was intended to be used with a video camera I use.  I also get a message that Picture Package is running at the same time the Tray app message comes up.  Again can't finish loading Windows unless I go to Task manager.  I have removed the Picture Package, but problem persists.  Haven't gotten any help through Sony.

Would appreciate detailed steps on how to disable the Windows Installer/Tray App message and Picture Package running!

    Thanks,
