Yes. Since Sora is only release for around half a year, it indeed need some time to extend its broadness and usability. We are committed to continously support Sora for academic use and we also solicit the community's help to improve it. For exmaple, in
the latest release of Sora 1.1, more features are included, like OFDM code, user-mode extension, and Vector1 library, etc. So, the developer can write signal processing program in user-mode without touching annoying assembly code.
Sora SDK contains full API support for radio control, like power gain, frequency, etc. It may not be well known because of the lack of documentation. We are working on a manual book that collects all such information, and will put the manual online soon.
