  • Good to hear that you are interested in Genuine Microsoft Software.

    Let me tell you about your query:

    Firstly, you are telling that you can get the product key from help menu. This is completely false and you have mistaken Product I.D with the Product Key which are completely different from each other.

    Secondly, since as per your MGA Data under OGA Data section (Office Genuine Advantage Data) you are getting the error message as:

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK
    OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
    Signed By: Microsoft
    Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-230-1

    The above error (in bold) means that you are using an illegal product key for your version of Office 2007. This error code signifies that the product key used to activate your copy of Office Enterprise 2007 is not being issued by Microsoft and is generated using Office Key-generators.

    More-over the above status shows that you are using Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007. This version of Office is meant for enterprise sector and is not meant for Home users. So if you got this version from any store (online or offline) then return this product to them and ask for a refund. Additionally report the suspected piracy to Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/howtotell/reports/report.aspx

    I hope that this solves your query.

  • Hello andya99,

    Here is a snippet of your mgadiag report:

    OGA Data-->
    Office Status: 108 Invalid VLK
    Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 - 108 Invalid VLK

    OGA Version: Registered, 2.0.48.0
    Signed By: Microsoft
    Office Diagnostics: 025D1FF3-230-1

    The report is telling us that your Dell OptiPlex 360 computer has a nongenuine Volume Licensing installation of Office Enterprise 2007 on it, and this nongenuine installation was done with an Invalid Volume Licensing product Key.  An Invalid Volume Licensing Product Key is one that was generated by software pirates using a program called a key generator, or KeyGen for short.  This product key was never officially issued by Microsoft, making it Invalid.

    Normally, legitimate users of Volume Licensing editions of Office are associated with larger business, educational, or governmental organizations.  If that's you, please contact your organization's IT support staff for further assistance.

    If your use of this installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is not associated with a larger business, educational, or governmental organization, and you purchased the installed copy of Office Enterprise 2007 thinking that it was a retail license to be sold to individual consumers, it is likely that you are a victim of software piracy or counterfeiting.  As an individual consumer, you should never have been sold Volume Licensing (VL) materials such as the VL installation disc and you certainly should not have received a Invalid VLK for Office Enterprise 2007.  You should have been sold Genuine retail licensed software.

    If so, your first course of action is to confront your seller with this information and demand a full refund.

    If the seller refuses to help, please file a piracy report at www.microsoft.com/piracy.  Also, depending upon whether you received "high quality" counterfeit materials, you may qualify for the Office Complimentary Offer or for the Office Genuine Advantage discounted offer.  Please see the FAQ here:  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC  If you think that you qualify for the Genuine Office Offer, apply for the Offer thru the Learn More Online link that the OGA Notifier is displaying.

    One other possibility is that at one time your computer did have a Genuine installation of Office installed, but for some reason it was replaced with the current installation which is nongenuine.  This could have happened if you took your computer to a repair shop and they reinstalled Windows and/or some or all of your programs.  You Get Genuine once again by uninstalling the current nongenuine installation of Office and using your Genuine Microsoft hologrammed Office installation CDs, along with the genuine Product Key found on your Office Edition's Certificate of Authenticity or yellow-orange Proof of License label, to put back the genuine installation of Office you may have already had on the computer.
