Locked File Transfer Issue - Communicator 2007

    Environment:

    We have one OCS 2007 FE server and one OCS 2007 Consolidated Edge server.

    Issue:

    I have few users who can send files through Communicator 2007 but cannot receive files.

    I have also users who don’t have any issue in sending/receiving files.

    I have few users who even cannot send/receive files.

     

    Questions:

    Are there any known reasons why it works for some users and not for others?

    Do I have to allow TCP ports 6891 – 6900 on our firewall for external file transfer?

      File transfer is peer-to-peer TCP 6891-6900 from to/from everywhere for file transfer to work (not sure about double nat issues)

        i also face the same problem...is it the firewall need to open port for file transfer?

          i also get this problem, we have allow port 6891 -6901 on firewall (ISA and ASA) inside and outside but its same we can't send recevie file using OCS, any have solution and advise for this case??
