However, it seems not that true in practical.
The time for retreiving the file is different and deviate a lot, e.g. 2-3 hours.
When demo to user is needed, it will be embarrassing in such case.
So, i would like to ask if there is any method can be used to get an updated copy of galcontacts.db.
p.s.: Editing the RegKey is not the choice in my case.

(Communicator must be closed when deleting the file)

But the interval change in the latest OC update can't be altered without editing the registry; that is the only way to change the new default behavior.
