I was wondering if anyone could help? The below message is what i get when i want run the diagnostic in OCS 2007.
The MCU Factory returned failure for a request sent to it.
The request MCU type - Conferencing requests for this MCU will be retired......but if the error continues to occur conference functionality will be affected.
I have been browsing through the threads and someone mentioned, that this error can be overcome by re-installing the data MCU. My question is, could anyone tell me how this is done?
Many thanks in advance,
Tinashe

Hello,
First you have to deactivate the Webcomponents Server role and then go for Web Conference server role, Then for uninstallating go to add remove programes and uninstall only Web components and Web Conference roles, Then using the OCS media you can again run the setup and it will indeed install the required files and activate the Web components and web conference roles.
This is how you can reinstall the web confernece role in OCS.
Hope this helps and have a nice day!
