  Man, our R2 auto updated (oops.com on me) and I caught the blog JUST before we started to format the box and rebuild it.  Glad I caught it at least.

  Jeff, I'm actually seeing very similar behavior in office communicator as well now after updating my machine over night, regarding an error about running an evaluation or pre-release version of communicator. Can you confirm that this is also a related update issue with something Microsoft changed in this round of updates as well?

  Thanks Jeff, the confirmation is much appreciated, glad I'm not crazy. Can you confirm if it's linked to the XP/Vista/Win7 KB974571 update as well? Obviously this could have pretty large ramifications if true
