Hi together,
is there some option to work with crm 2011 with safari or firefox. We are currently working with RDP connections, yet this just is not an option for a larger deployment and with the options provided in the mobile version, this is just to limited.
Thanks
Wolf

Not really. Internet Explorer is the only supported browser ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd979184.aspx ) and they dont make that for Macs anymore.
This article contains a few suggestions for work-arounds of varying practicality: http://collinsdynamicscrm.blogspot.com/2011/05/using-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2011-with.htmlBR

First, sorry my english...
Unfortunately you can not, so support for all browsers is not done yet, it has been widely discussed, there is no doubt that we'll soon have this possibility, or through a rollup or the next version.
You'll find versions for mobile mode, besides of course http://crm.organization.com/m.
But I think we all are paid...

Install parallels and put Internet Explorer on that. That will work.

Hi Jamie,
Can you please explain your senario (parallels desktop) in more details....for this thing what are all required...
I am also looking for same thing accessing CRM 2011 through MAC via Terminal Server (TS) via Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and/or Citrix or any other way....
Can you please provide me your setup senario or hardware requirement for terminal access (for more than 1000+ users accessing CRM from MAC)

What I was proposing was using software called Parallels Desktop for Mac
http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/
It allows you to run windows programs on your mac and will allow you to run IE on your mac computers. This will allow you to access CRM.

You can install a plugin 'IE Tab' in your firefox browser and can acess CRM from Firefox. Microsoft is planning to release a version of CRM which can be accessed in multiple browsers.- Proposed As Answer by Sandeep1136 Wednesday, November 16, 2011 5:34 PM

I have seen this suggestion before but IEtab isn't really a good option anymore as the project is kind of dead and it also requires a previous version of IE to already be installed on the system.
I will admit though that Cross browser functionality is coming in a future service release.

You would set up a windows terminal server and have user's log into the the server with an RDP client (like remote desktop for windows) and then they are basically working in windows on that server and can use IE to access CRM.

Hi Jamie,
Can you tell me something about Citrix, means how apple users can access CRM on IE via Citrix......Exactly what is required for that.....
Thanks in advance...
