    Hi,

    I am trying to install the crm for outlook client. But it keeps failing with this message:

         Setup cannot proceed because c:\windows\temp\MSCRM_{xxxxx}\ClientSetup.dll cannot be found or is incorrect.

         For additional details see logfile C:\users\xxxxxxx\crm40setup.log.

    I was able to set it up before, but my laptop crashed, so I had to reinstall windows 7 from the start. I even deleted the C partition - but left the D partition that has all my data... after the windows 7 re-install, i can no longer install the client, even though i am able to access our crm.

    Any help will be highly appreciated...

    It sounds as though the download is corrupt, either through the download or unzipping process. I'd advise you to try downloading the installer again (choosing the 32-bit or 64-bit version depending on the version of Office installed). http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=27821.
