Importing data to existing accounts

Hi,
Our company has CRM 4.0. We've successfully imported tonnes of data, but we can't seem to find any way of adding data to existing accounts. We have Excel-sheets with information that we would like to add to the accounts in CRM. We have so far only used the importing tool which CRM 4.0 provide online, and if possible, we have no intentions to download other programmes.
So, does CRM 4.0 support importing data from a .csv file to already existing accounts?

For updating the existing accounts, you'll need to export the existing record, update the values in the excel and re-import back.
