CRM2011, RU10
Hi. We have a pre-production 'On Premises' installtion of CRM2011 across 2 load balanced application servers. The Outlook client works without any issues on Windows 7 with Office 2010. All users can access the system through a web browser from both XP and Windows 7 machines. However, XP machines cannot access the CRM from XP machines running Outlook 2010.
The CRM client and Roll-up 10 install without any issues on an XP machine. The site test works fine on the configure site screen and resolves the organization name without any issues. But when the user tries to click any of the CRM navigation bar buttons there is a message shown in the top of the Outlook ribbon saying 'Retrieval of a page from a CRM server failed due to an error' and the main window displays 'The program cannot display the webpage'.
Windows XP and Office 2010 both have all the latest updates installed.
I have added the sites UNC/FQD names to tusted sites
All URLs in HKCU appear to be correct.
User has read access to all Core Records settings
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Perhaps there is a corruption in the .net platform on the XP machine.
You can run a repair from the command prompt.
Also look for browser issues, BHOs etc. so try to get it back to "plain Vanilla" and that will be a start of troubleshooting it.

Thank you for your reply, but I have tried this on several XP machines, tried to repair/re-install .net and put machines into a No GPO container. Still having the same issue.
It looks like there should be an iframe add on running in IE8 but it only appears on Win7 machines
