    Hello Everyone,

How to activate CRM 2011 online subscription?

I would like to purchase CRM 2011 online licenses on behalf of my customer.

Being a Microsoft network partner how can we purchase licenses for our customer(s)?

    Thanks, Ankit Shah

    Hi Ankit

You should create the CRM Online organization with one of the clients LiveIDs instead. Then they can enter the payment section and set up the payment options.

Under the payment options you can also set your company as the preferred partner. Microsoft will then bill the client and forward you up to 40% of licenses. You should NEVER bill the client for CRM Online enviroments yourself. That can only be done by Microsoft.

Being named preferred partner requires your company to have signed the CRM Addemdum on the Microsoft partner portal.

    Hi Rune,

Thank you very much for a response.

    Couple of more queries,

    1. I did not find payment options anywhere. Our customer has already registered for trial version, while activating that we got a message like
    "No offers Are Available".

Similarly, i am also facing the same message while activating our own trial version of CRM 2011 online.

Could you please shed some light on this part? How to proceed with trial version of CRM 2011 online. Please suggest.

    2. From where can we get the CRM Addendum to be signed? Could you please share some links or path to reach that document.

    Thanks, Ankit Shah

You should contact your Partner Account Manager from Microsoft to help you get the CRM addendum signed. He can guide you to the exact location. It does require your company to hold a certain amount of CRM certifications, Surestep certifications, presales and sales certifications etc.

If all that is in place you can sign the addendum.. its an electronic signature.

Only the person that created the CRM Online Organizations is able to enter the payment options.
