We're working on a project upgrading a CRM 4.0 environment to CRM 2011. However, the client has a lot of unsupported CRM 4.0 development. We are trying to pinpoint the features in 4.0 that have been removed/deprecated that their current CRM 4.0 system might still be utilizing.

We have realized that some of their reports that were utilizing the "deletionstatecode" will need to be changed/updated.

However, are there any other attributes/entities/features that have been removed that are not mentioned in the msdn article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg328322.aspx.

    Hi,

I feel I should be able to provide a list here, but realistically, your best bet is to do the upgrade and see what doesn't work. Any customisations that use functionality that isn't directly listed in the Crm 4 sdk APIs has a potential to not work. Anything to do with the ISV directory and impersonation is going to be a problem. Also focus on any JavaScript customisations that use functions that are not part of the standard crm form API.
