Disable "Documents Location" bar and "Add Location", "Edit Location" Buttons on the Form.

Hi,
We have configured Sharepoint 2010 to our crm 2011 Dev Environment. We want to hide the below options to the users. Is there any way to achieve this.
Also while Opening the file, we want to open the file directly. Currently the files were opened in an IE.

Hi Srinivas,
These options which you want to hide are out of the box and their visibility is not configurable.You cannot hide the Views pick list.
For the buttons, "Add Location" and "Edit Location", you can try editing the ribbon XML for that entity. Go to the XML and the area of DiffXML. There you can put your code to hide these system button. I advise to test it thoroughly, as you are hiding the system buttons.
The files should open in their assigned programs. Try opening a PDF document or a word document, it should open in adobe reader or MS word. I see above is a text file. So is this text file opening in IE?
Right click on the file record and see whether you have any option of "open with".
If not then:
Using your file explorer go to any existing text file. Set the association to open with Notepad instead of IE; Save; it will auto open by default in Notepad.
