    Hi

we are intending to use ms crm 4.0 for a pediaatric clinic but i am unable to add or invoice service activity

    process is:-

a customer comes/calls then frontdesk will schedule for an appointment

customer shows up on frontdesk then goes to doctor

doctors after consulting or treating will write on paper the consulting/treating price code with discount if given

patient comes to frontdesk with paper

frontdesk according to doctor's writing will give the client Receipt voucher

There is no OOB solution to create an Invoice directly from the activities. However with a little customization yoou can design a solution that would create an invoice using the customer on the service activity and use the time and description to create a line item on the invoice.

This can either be done through custom button or perhaps a plugin/workflow to create an invoice from the activity.

Currently in the OOB system, the user will be required to manually create an invoce with the line items. They can associate the activity with the invoice using the regarding field.

When you create an invoice, you may want to invoice the consultation time spent which has been recorded in the Appointment.

The details from the appointment, like the time spent could be used as the qty for the line item

The subject of the appointment could become the description of the line item.

You could enter the consultation charges per hour in the price.

This would help you create an invoice from the appointment.
