Unanswered Office 365 Sharepoint List Component For CRM Not Validating

    Hello,

We are using Sharepoint 2010 on Office 365 and using CRM On-line.  I'm trying to integrate them so we use Sharepoint on Office 365 as our repository for many company documents.  I had a few issues so far doing this.  If I use the browser and go into crm.dynamics.com and login - then go to settings, system, then document management, then click document management settings and enter my URL for sharepoint, it gives me a Internet Explorer security settings error.  If I do the same thing but through Outlook (since I have the Outlook for CRM plugin installed) - things work better, and I get a "Validation could not succeed because the List component could not be detected".  I checked that the list component is installed and is activated on Sharepoint.

What I'm wondering is if we are signed up with CRM On-line as a user name of JohnSmith@ABCCompany.com and I'm signed up with Office 365 as JohnSmith@EFGHCompany.com would that be what's causing that issue?  If not, what is the proper URL from Office 365 I should be entering into Dynamics Online?  Should it be:

    1)  http://EFGHCompany.sharepoint.com/teamsite or

    2)  https://EFGHCompany.sharepoint.com/teamsite or

    3)  http://EFGHCompany.sharepoint.com/ or

    4)  https://EFGHCompany.sharepoint.com/

Otherwise, I'm not sure why the list component fails, is there anything anyone knows else to check?

    Thanks

I configured Office365 and CRM 2011 Online for my production instance yesterday using this procedure - http://shivamdixit.wordpress.com/2011/12/02/integrating-sharepoint-2010-online-and-crm-2011-online/

The instructions worked well - took about 10 minutes to download the Sharepoint List Component, configure both sides and test uploading a document for an Account.

It may be an issue that you have different LiveID's.  I am using the same LiveID for Office365 and CRM 2011 Online - not sure.

Activating the Solution in Sharepoint did take a bit of time - i clicked a couple of times and after 40 seconds it came back with successful activation.

I created a new site under the team site "CRM" so that my URL from CRM became https://companyname.sharepoint.com/crm

In Settings, Document Management, Sharepoint Sites, I have two entries - a Default Site and a Default Site Collection.  The Default Site Collection has an absolute url being https://companyname.sharepoint.com and the Default Site has no absolute url but has a relative url of "crm".
