I created a workflow on a test machine. I'd like to move it over to the production machine, but am wondering if there is a way to move just this workflow over rather than the entire solution? And preferably without creating yet another solution?

And preferably without creating yet another solution?
In CRM 2011, Solutions are the only way of transporting customisations; including Workflows.
- Create new solution
- Add Workflow
- Export from Test
- Import into Production
The whole process shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes and provides a supported, safe mechanism for migration - why the reluctance?

You need to create a solution in order to import workflows in CRM 2011.
Here is an interesting link: http://gonzaloruizcrm.blogspot.ca/2011/06/unable-to-import-xaml-workflow-into-crm.html
